How do they work?
- The main ingredient in dermal fillers is Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule that attracts water and adds volume to the skin.
- HA is incorporated into a gel that is injected under the skin. The results are instant. They can be used to add volume lost due to the ageing process or to augment the soft tissue and enhance its appearance (e.g. lip filler).
- The brand used at NG Aesthetics is Teoxane, a premium, extensively tested brand that I love and trust. It is absorbed by the body over time and results last between 12-18 months.
- Prior to any dermal filler treatment, I will supply you with numbing cream to be applied 30-45 minutes pre-procedure.
